세계대학순위(QS World University Rankings)를 해마다 발표하고 있는 영국의 공신력 있는 고등교육 평가기관 큐에스(QS Quacquarelli Symonds)는 세계의 명문 대학 MBA 비즈니스 스쿨과 함께 서울에 방문하여 국내외 MBA를 준비중인 지원자가 참가할 수 있는 QS 세계 MBA 박람회(World MBA Tour)를 8월 22일(목) 밀레니엄 힐튼 서울 호텔에서 개최한다. 

이 행사는 매년 여름, 늦가을 한국에서 서울 소재 호텔에서 2회 개최된다. 8월 22일 행사에는 미국·아시아·유럽·캐나다 지역에서 전 세계 45여 이상의 비즈니스 스쿨이 참가한다. 

주요 참가학교: 미국 명문 듀크 후쿠아(Duke Fuqua), 코넬 존슨(Cornell Johnson), UC 버클리 하스(UC Berkeley Haas), 조지타운 맥더놉(Georgetown McDonough), 미시건 로스(Michigan Ross) 및 영국 명문 임페리얼 칼리지(Imperial College), 캐나다 명문대 토론토 로트만(Toronto Rotman) 국내 참가대학은 성균관대 경영대학원(SKK GSB) 등 

박람회에는 세계 우수 비즈니스 스쿨의 입학 감독관이 직접 참가하며 참가자들이 부스를 돌며 관련 정보를 얻을 수 있는 오픈 박람회로 진행된다. 지원자들은 미국, 유럽 및 아시아권의 명문 입학 심사관과 자신이 선택한 분야에서 활약하고 있는 MBA 졸업생들을 직접 만나 커리어 관련 조언을 얻거나 실질적인 MBA에 대한 정보를 얻을 수 있다. 

또한 비즈니스 스쿨 입학 시험 준비에 도움이 될 입학 심사에 관한 프레젠테이션 및 GMAT 전략 세미나에 참가할 수 있다. 

참가자에게는 미화 7만달러 상당의 장학금 지원 기회의 혜택도 제공된다. 

QS는 이번 박람회에 대해 지원자들에게 있어 MBA 프로그램 선택, 추천서 준비와 GMAT준비, 학비에 관한 고민, 학업 중 가족들의 생활까지 MBA 진학에 필요한 모든 정보를 직접 수집할 수 있는 기회가 될 행사라고 설명했다.
